User driven innovation

°MEQU is a Danish MedTech company that manufactures the most effective portable blood and IV fluid warmer for use in emergency medical services and hospitals. °MEQU was founded in 2011 by Ulrik Krogh Andersen.

Ulrik Krogh Andersen, who is now the CEO of °MEQU, developed the °M Warmer System in collaboration with the Danish military and the Danish Technology University (DTU) to prevent hypothermia and improve the survival and recovery rate of severely injured patients.

The °M Warmer System has a minimalist and user-friendly design that reduces the risk of human errors and delays. It won the red dot design award in 2018 for its high-tech and user-friendly expression.

Today the °M Warmer System is widely used by emergency services, hospitals and military medics.

Vision & Mission

Our vision is to reduce the number of cases of hypothermia and improve the survival and recovery rate of severely injured patients. We believe in faster, better and more intuitive treatments in critical situations.

Our mission is to make it possible to provide warm blood to any bleeding patient – regardless of where the injury takes place. Being in a remote place far from a hospital should never justify giving patients cold fluids.

Board of directors

Our board of directors is a team with extensive experience from the medical device and life science industries and are actively involved in the development of °MEQU. In °MEQU we value our board members, who have a strong track-record and in-depth insight into our industry, customer segments as well as experience in building global companies – bringing us from a more R&D focused company to a successful international sales company. Some of our board members are also some of our investors who support our journey.
